hello hello hello! we love spring and summer, and designers show their resort 2011 collection that inspire us to dress up in spring and summer. now, i have a resort collection from these mah-jor brand. yes, Chanel and Dior.
first, we have Chanel to talking bout. taking place in St.Tropez, opening with a short film called "Remember Now" by Karl Lagerfeld and super cute & inspiring clothes. for the 1st look (right) we know that the model is wearing a floral maxi. pair with rattan shoulder bag and gold sandals. oh i love this look. this look is perfect for summer holiday at beach. just add an oversize sunglasses and a floppy hat, then voila!
dont u love a tweed dress? and fyi, some models that walked on Chanel Cruise were barefoot! back to tweed dress, this dress is perfect match with pearl necklace or brooch and open toe stiletto. or u can follow Chanel's way, wearing a sheer blouse as outerwear.
lets imagine, walking in the beach with a cute pink flirty mini dress and floppy hat.i love this look, and this look is great for a formal party that located at near beach or formal pool party.
wanna go shopping? wait a sec, u should buy a bikini like this. a frill plaid printed bikini. isn't it cute? pair it with a long necklace, stacked metal cuffs and a gladiator sandals. then u're ready to rock the beach :D
okay i really hate to admit it that plaid is back. back to fall 2010 collection. from Louis Vuitton to Jean Paul Gaultier, Jason Wu etc until now the resort collection from Chanel and Dior. and just because plaid is back. DO NOT wear a plaid shirt, ok? chose a plaid skirt or plaid top. and give ur look sum new favor. like wear it with metal cuff, hoop earrings and blazer maybe? plaid is back, but we should make it into a fresh-comeback.
got a theme party? like safari party? wear a shirt with wide leg pants pair it with earth color accessories. like, beige clutch, straw hat and waist belt like Chanel's way.
im in a lazy to dress up condition. and i always am confused to pick a great clothes without too much effort. then, i found this look on Chanel. im so thankful that i found this look cause its really inspire me. cardigan with mini and suede knee boots? ah-dorable. for the accessories? chose metal necklace and double ring or statement ring.
im talking bout tweed, tweed and tweed. tweed is everywhere. and ive become a tweed lover. if u a tweed lover too, dont sad cause in resort collection tweed is huge. tweed dress pair with tweed jacket and tweed satchel. a gladiator sandals and metal necklace as accessories? perfect.
leave ur black jumpsuit and buy some jumpsuit in a bright colors. like orange, blue, pink or green. pair a bright color jumpsuit with gold sandals and rattan handbag. and oh, cat eye sunglasses is recommended.
follow this look for a semi formal classic party or a cocktail party. mini dress pair with embellished jacket. oh i DIE for this jacket!
i told ya that tweed is huge in this season. even Karl Lagerfeld design a tweed jumpsuit! and metal cuff is the perfect match accessories. with drop earring is cool tho. chose a bright color or a pastel color for this tweed jumpsuit.
and now we have a Dior resort 2011 collection. like Dior's couture, ladylike. i was surprise when i see a boyish look at their resort runway. this look is perfect for u who love the boyish look. vest, pants, shirt, tie, coat and fedora. totally boyish!
sheer material is going bigger this season. and i know that u'll getting bored with sheer top or sheer blouse. so, here Dior gave u a new way to use sheer trend. yes a sheer shorts. i love the Dior's way combining a navy sheer shorts with stripes jacket and square sunglasses. wear a red bag for a nautical look.
yeah plaid is back. plaid jacket combined with a leather skirt? fabulous. i want u to wear plaid trend in a new way, and this look can inspire u. and fyi, everything in leather is huge.
this look is SO Barbie rite? and i love that camisole top. its so unique. some advice from this look : wear two neon/bright color in one look. combine it with white (cause black is temporarily out for color blocking *hiks*) for a Barbie look. then applying ur red lipstick on ur lipstick. oh my great!
want to wear a focus point trend? oh so easy. search a black lace dress in ur wardrobe. then pair it with pink or neon green bag. u'll look stunning without much effort. and pearl necklace is recommended.
imagine when u wake up in the morning and feelin' like Barbie. looking pretty in all pink look. i guess u'll be the next Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blond :p pink dress, pink satchel and pink heels. also wear some cute pearl accessories, gloves and cat eye sunglasses. guess u'll be prettier than Barbie.
and for the last minute prom inspiration, beige floor length dress. pair it with drop earrings and red lipstick on.
