Trend Alert : Ikat Dress

i have to admit that ikat dress is going big and bigger this season. and its fun, cause it has a LOT of pattern and u can explore them. as Indonesian, im very proud that this  dress is hot and many Hollywood artist are spotted wearing this dress cause some patterns are from Indonesia. huge brands like Dries Van Noten, Gucci, Proenza Schouler and Karen Millen also spotted having an Ikat Dress of their collection. and you... i think u should go to the mall and begin hunting the ikat dress. the rules of wearing this dress is simple, just wear a bold or geometric sandals, like Heidi Klum's "Sigrid" Gucci sandals while she's wearing her Gucci ikat dress. so simple rite? and i think hoop earrings is the perfect match accessories for this dress. lets go hunt this dress!

Prom Inspiration #2

hi this is my 2nd post for prom. after i gave u some inspirations for the dress and the look. now i wanna give u inspirations for accessories. every girl want to dance with their prom date in a super comfort beautiful heels. i recommended a heels from Christian Louboutin -- obvious. or Jimmy Choo, Giuseppe Zanotti, Valentino or Yves Saint Laurent. besides they're comfy, their collections are SO fashionable but expensive haha. my most fav heels above is from Giuseppe Zanotti the beaded one. pretty cute right?

and now for gloves, i have to say that gloves is the most wanted item for me now. gloves is so hot even its spring. and for prom, its perfect accessories besides headpiece. i suggest u choose the finger gloves like in Chanel Haute Couture 2009. or like Lady Gaga's on her Telephone music video. but its so hard to find finger gloves in Jakarta. maybe u can find it in Chanel :p

the last important thing in prom, clutch bag. from left to right, Chanel, Valentino, Christian Louboutin, Alexander McQueen, Marc by Marc Jacobs. but i love the clutch from McQueen. its so unique! for a classic look, chose from Chanel or Marc Jacobs. and if u have a beige dress for prom, from McQueen is the perfect match for ur dress.

Prom Inspiration #1

hi everyone! this year is gonna be my junior prom. yea finally :D and if u gonna have a junior prom -- like me or senior prom, i wanna give u some inspirations for ur prom.

little black dress? no way. even its timeless but u have to get sumthin fresh for ur prom. like a beige little dress. its cute right? and fyi, beige is hot in Spring. chose a little beige dress with tulle for ur prom dress. and pair it with the same color pump. but i think halter and tube dress are hotter.

wanna go to prom with a rock style? buy an embellished mini dress. with shoulder pad is better. and u dont have to add some accessories for ur look. u already look stunning with this dress. pair it with ankle boots and studded belt like Balmain's way (left). and chose a gold, purple, or blue for the color of the dress.

feeling bored with those dress? buy an electric blue mini dress for ur prom. and i think u should chose the one shoulder or tube dress. if u wear this dress, u can look stunning. this look, i mean Emma Roberts' look is wearing focus point trend. she wore a blue dress and black clutch. so everyone just look into her dress. u must follow her look. wear a matching necklace and black clutch.

wanna look like a princess? wear a very soft pink color gown to ur prom. then wear a gloves, statement necklace and sky high stiletto. use a light material for ur gown like tulle materials. then, finish ur look with a fresh make up. oh so stunning!

not enough with beige color? u can wear an embellished beige color gown like Cameron Diaz wore at Oscars. im loving this gown so much! follow her way wearing a gold hoop earrings and red lipstick. and yes u should wear some gold accessories for this ah-dorable gown.

who doesnt falling in love with Camilla Belle's gown? and she's looking fabulous with her fresh make up and her YSL heels. chose a broken white layered gown and pair it with black accessories or silver or white. but i think u should follow her way.
